Salary non-negotiable. This position includes paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays. While we do not offer employer-sponsored health insurance, you will receive a $400 monthly stipend to help cover insurance costs. Continued employment is contingent upon annual grant funding.

• Assist the Executive Director with the planning, coordination, and execution of the ACE Annual Statewide Conference and the annual Summer Symposium. • Coordinate and support grant deliverables, including the planning, promotion, and facilitation of professional development trainings and events. • Manage and maintain the ACE website and social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter/X. • Travel throughout the state as needed to facilitate adult education trainings and related events. • Coordinate production of the ACE Report Magazine by soliciting articles, advertisements, and photographs related to adult education in Florida, and collaborating with the graphic designer on publication layout and design. • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software. • Strong technical and digital communication skills. • Experience managing and utilizing social media platforms professionally. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and planning capabilities. • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

ACE of Florida is the state professional association that provides leadership, advocacy and professional development training for adult educators. Our goal is to provide the support, training and resources to help individuals be successful as an educator, and to provide the adult education students a clear path to reaching their goals of better job skills and opportunities, higher wages and a positive impact on their families and communities.
Our office is in downtown Tallahassee, two blocks south of the Leon County Civic Center. ACE receives grant funding to provide statewide professional development trainings, workshops, and the annual symposium and conference, both virtual and face-to-face, for adult education administrators, deans, directors, and teachers. We are looking for an individual to join our team as the Program Coordinator to assist with the demands of our grant deliverables.
