The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Member Engagement Manager working daily to take care of our over 1,000 members. This position requires experience in database management, customer service and strong administrative skills. The position also requires that the employee is comfortable communicating through writing, over the phone and in person.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintains the member database: updating member profiles, creating and sending invoices, posting payments, producing reports, etc.
Processes new membership applications
Serves as the main contact for event registrations and login information
Coordinates logistics for specific membership events, including pre/post communications, set up/clean up, food and beverage, assists with attendees check in, etc.
Provides direct outreach to members, sponsors and volunteers as needed
Provides admin support for the Ambassador Program (our volunteers who assist with ribbon cuttings, event support, etc.)
Serves as the first point of contact when individuals visit our building and for general phone calls to the office. Assisting callers and visitors with general membership, program and event inquiries, event registration, relocation questions, etc.
Manage registration for and promotion of Professional Development Series and Business Builder Sessions
Create and maintain daily check log
Performs other administrative tasks and projects, as assigned

Minimum Education and Work Experience Requirements:
A High School Diploma is required, Higher Education or equivalent work experience is a plus
Work Experience:
At least one year’s experience in a professional office environment with customer service interactions; experience in a membership organization is a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook programs; experience with using and updating a CRM system is a plus
