Under the direction of the Manager, Constituent & Member Services, the administrator provides operational leadership and customer service support across constituent relations, student membership programs, member support services, and AGD Store administration. This role serves as a primary resource for constituent leaders, dental students, AGD members, and internal stakeholders by coordinating leadership resources, administering student and constituent programs, supporting member account services, and managing AGD Store operations and event-based sales activities. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can balance program administration, customer service, communications, event coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance the overall member, student, and constituent experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area.
Credentials (years of experience): Minimum two years related experience. Prefer association background in chapter/constituent relations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with AGD members, officers and constituents and present a positive image of AGD through these communications. Possess advanced PC skills, including experience with report writers and various software programs, e.g. iMis, or other data processing software, and ability and willingness to learn new software and programs as required. Be flexible, adaptable, able to work on a wide variety of tasks independently and in a team structure, and understand meaning of confidentiality. Possess the ability to meet deadlines, set priorities, work independently, show a high level of initiative and creativity, and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail. Possess good organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and excellent oral and written communications skills with good spelling, proofreading and grammatical skills. Be able to work additional hours and travel as needed.
