The Senior Director of Government Relations at the American Academy of Audiology has a critical role in advancing the organization’s strategic priorities. The individual leads a small team in managing all aspects of legislative and regulatory affairs, as well as payor outreach to influence payment policies. Working closely with volunteers and other senior staff members, the individual keeps the organization’s leaders and members informed of critical policy issues of relevance to hearing and balance health care.
