This position is responsible for the growth and development of TSCPA events,including exhibitor, sponsor, and advertiser growth, andevent planning and support including rental space agreements, agenda and speaker arrangements, conference management, on-site CPE program management, and online program support.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
SPONSOR, EXHIBITOR, ADVERTISING DEVELOPMENT
Develop and maintain relationships with local and national businesses to develop plans and packages designed to achieve business development objectives through exhibitions, sponsorships, advertising and other partnership opportunities.
Create and execute sales and marketing plan to increase partnership revenue.
Research, identify and proactively contact local and national business development prospects.
Develop custom event and/or advertising packages for clients to help them achieve maximum ROI.
Manage pre-event, on-site and post-event coordination and communication with exhibitors and sponsors.
Coordinate event agenda items and logistics pertaining to exhibitors and sponsors as well as signage and other branded promotional/sponsored items.
Communicate with TSCPA marketing staff around details specific to online or print sponsorship needs.
Review and report on success and trends.
EVENT MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT:
Plan, manage and execute production schedule and logistics for specified events, including identifying potential event locations, securing space rental agreements, food and beverage contracts, audio / visual needs, speaker schedules and overnight accommodations. May provide on-site administration for some events.
Serve as a staff liaison for specified conference planning committees, attending planning meetings and working with volunteers to set event agendas and coordinate speaking engagements.
Serve as point of contact for education vendors for specified events.
Work in conjunction with TSCPA event staff to identify and schedule subject matter experts for conference speaking engagements and coordinate conference agendas.
Coordinate on-site continuing education events, serving as liaison between client and education vendor to arrange scheduling, registration, and issuance of attendance credit. Proactively meet with clients to plan programming and ensure all client needs are met.
Coordinate and complete supporting tasks for events including registration counts, online event setup and posting of materials, attendance reconciliations, post-event surveys.
Provide customer service to TSCPA members for items including event registrations, cancellations, transfers, credit questions and adjustments, and other event-related support items.
Collaborate with marketing and communications team on event marketing plans and proof all marketing materials.
