State-wide trade association representing the financial services industry, currently has a senior lobbyist position open in the government relations area. Primary responsibilities include representing the association before elected officials, their staffs, and regulatory agencies; developing the association’s legislative and regulatory agenda; drafting legislation, testimony, and position papers for activities in Tallahassee and Washington D.C.; providing written and oral updates to the association’s Board of Directors, committees, and members; working on the organization’s pacs and grass roots events.  The position will also be a part of the association’s management team and will perform executive duties as required.
