Summary function: Performs and supervises other staff in providing assistance to Bar members regarding their member information. Maintains statistical data on members. Annually bills and processes members' fees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assures timely and accurate processing of all elements related to membership records and any other area assigned by F&A. Answers telephone inquiries and emails, routing them to appropriate staff or departments. Assists members with making changes to their profile and assists the public and members using the storefront portion of The Florida Bar's website. Interprets and explains Rules and Regulating related to The Florida Bar's membership classifications, fees and contact information. Provides regular membership statistics to CFO. Perform continuous process improvement analysis to facility more efficient operations.
Directs, trains, develops and recommends personnel actions for Membership Records staff; i.e., recommends hiring and discipline. Assists with formatting fee statements for billing and collecting annual fees. Assists in balancing and processing members fees submitted through internal cash receipts. Assists in generating related accounting entries, i.e. refunds, status change forms and debit/credit forms.
Oversees membership maintenance. Processes and mails correspondence to members and the public regarding certificates of membership and reinstatements; verifies eligibility of members' status, oversees status changes such as new member set-up and retirements, resolving member delinquencies, lapsing, maintains and files certified correspondence to members, updates membership procedures for training staff, maintains confidential members data and processes manual mailing of all confidential members, maintains archived and retention steps for membership records.
Performs advanced functions related to member services; preparing affidavits requested by Bar Counsel and the public in reference to a member's status and address history information. Maintains files and enters all related information into computer.
Conducts related research when needed; special projects as assigned.
Required minimum education: Bachelor's Degree (proof of degree required at interview).
Required minimum professional work experience: Three (3) years of related responsible experience, one of which is in a supervisory capacity. Must have experience in customer service and general office practices some of which must have been using numbers and reconciling accounts/data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Progressively responsible related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge of:
