Under the direction of the Director of Accounting and Finance, the Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining the financial records that track the Florida Sheriffs Association’s revenues and expenditures, cash flow, and other financial activities.  Position Duties/Responsibilities: Recording of deposits and accounts receivables.  Disseminate weekly reports of cash receipts to other departments within the association.  Accounts payable responsibilities including charging expenses to accounts, recording entries, processing checks, resolving purchase orders or invoice discrepancies, verifying vendor accounts, and similar functions.  Process requests and create accounts
