The Executive Officer serves as the chief administrative officer, recommends and participates in the formation of new policies, and makes decisions within the bounds of existing policies. In addition, the EO also plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the staff, various programs, and activities within the association to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Position Responsibilities − Attend all Board of Directors meetings − Promote, engage, and encourage membership recruitment and retention − Maintain relationships with government officials on issues impacting our industry − Manage administration operations of the association, including a full-time staff of four − Recruit, hire, and train staff as needed − Direct the implementation of all Board approved programs and directives − Develop an annual budget and oversee the financial assets of the association − Serve as chief spokesperson to news media, local and state officials, and others regarding the building and remodeling industry
