Adult and Community Educators (ACE) of Florida is the state professional association that provides leadership, advocacy and professional development training for adult educators.
Our office is in downtown Tallahassee, two blocks from the Civic Center. ACE receives grant funding to provide statewide professional development trainings, workshops, symposiums and conference, both virtual and face-to-face, for adult education administrators, deans, directors, and teachers.
We are looking for an individual to join our team of three as a part-time grant associate to assist with the demands of our grant deliverables. This is a hybrid part-time contract position requiring 20-25 hours per week (flexible). This position may require overnight travel.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with the design of marketing materials for professional development
Assist with the facilitation and registration for regional and statewide professional development trainings, workshops and conference
Ability to communicate professionally with our members both by phone and email
Assist in maintaining website content (updating copy, images, videos, attachments)
we use Novi Association Management System (AMS) and can teach you onsite
Maintain social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram, X
Work closely with the Special Projects Coordinator to prepare training materials and reports
Work closely with the Finance Officer gathering paperwork and preparing invoices for the grant
Other duties as assigned for the execution and delivery of grant deliverables
Minimum Qualifications:
Great communication skills – both oral and written
Strong organizational skills
Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with creating graphics for both web and social media
