We are the DCAT organization, a not-for-profit business development association for the manufacturing side of the Pharma industry. We are a small staff of 14; we DO NOT lobby...we develop and host programs and events, informational materials, and value-add services for our 575 global member companies. These activities allow them to build their network of business partners in the global bio/pharma manufacturing value chain. We also hold the number one event in the industry each year in NYC.
We're seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Committee Project Manager who will work closely with all volunteer standing and administrative committees who plan and develop special projects, programs, and events that benefit the DCAT Member Company Community. You'll report to and work closely with the Executive Director and others on the team to engage volunteers and help them fulfill the mission of the DCAT organization:
Assist with all phases of the committee recruitment and appointment process.
Liaison with staff and board members on committee proposals and activities.
Coordinate and integrate committee activities with the annual event in NYC.
Recommend committee activities and guide projects to completion.
Assist in program speaker selection, contracting, and vendor requirements.
Keep committees moving forward by preparing minutes, scheduling meetings, and coordinating activities within the organization and industry calendars.
Draft correspondence and or reports on behalf of the committee.
Work with the internal marketing team to promote committee activities and projects.

Secure speakers for quarterly 1-hour webinars
Assist in the development and organization of in-person events during DCAT Week
Assist in the development and organization of an annual international conference and networking event
Plan the annual Scholarship Golf Outing
Coordinate the organization’s scholarship initiatives
Oversee online and in-person networking and education programs
Develop new member benefits

NOTE: REMOTE POSITION – or you are welcome to go into our physical office in Central New Jersey. DCAT is a small-staffed association of fourteen employees (and a couple of part-time consultants.) DCAT works in a secure cloud environment where you can access files from work or home. Employees must attend the organization's annual event for five days in New York City each year; other events are optional.

MUST HAVE at least four years of relevant experience at an association where you exhibited your creativity, flourished, and were looking for your next step up the ladder.
A college degree is preferable but not necessary.
Experience or knowledge of chemistry or the pharmaceutical industry is preferable. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Proven experience working directly with people, sharing ideas, and solving problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, manage deadlines
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
