The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of membership, from serving as the first point of contact for membership related questions, to organizing events and recruiting new members. Position will also be tasked with maintaining records, tracking membership figures, and coordinating with the accounting department regarding the payment of membership fees
Essential Functions
Support the Company Member Forum including organize meetings (in person and via web platform)
Respond to member inquiries by phone and email
Onboard new members
Data entry into membership database
Marketing support
Assist with year-end membership dues invoicing, and other member correspondence as needed
Assist with membership dues collections and follow-up
Track and update membership revenue reports
Maintain policy setting committee rosters
Assist with creating prospect and member profiles
Maintain and update reports (member contact schedule; prospect tracking)
Research member and prospect revenue/budget
Coordinate nomination process for policy setting committees
Provide superior customer service
Day to day administrative duties
Assist with member related forums, meetings and events
Special projects as necessary
Travel availability for meetings/events as needed
Information Security Responsibilities
Attend/complete assigned information security training by the designated completion date.
Read and adhere to published ISMS policies and procedures.
Report timely any observed violations of ISMS policy - or known encroachments on information security - to your department leader and/or the Information Technology Department.
Education and Experience
A college degree or comparable work experience.
Other Qualification
Well organized and able to prioritize workloads.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
A “team player” and able to work well with all staff.
Able to accept work assignments from more than one supervisor and work well under pressure.
Strong computer skills including proficiency or ability to quickly attain proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), CRM membership database, Adobe Acrobat Exchange, Listserve, and other database and document management systems.
Good writing and proofreading skills.
A clear speaking voice and a courteous telephone manner.
Solid data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
Starting compensation will be in the $60,000 to $65,000 range, depending on education, experience, and other qualifications.
