GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manage all education. Curate content and develop and implement meetings, courses, webinars, certificates, and other educational programs in collaboration with organization leadership and subject matter experts. Serve as a liaison to councils and committees as assigned. Research, cultivate, plan, and execute a large variety of meeting and education initiatives as outlined in the organization’s strategic plan and as requested. Research enhancements to increase engagement in conferences and education activities. Manage and mentor staff to successfully meet and exceed goals. This position does not require and is not responsible for sales or marketing, as those are handled by third-party companies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Curation
Work with subject matter experts to identify relevant and timely education topics.
Coordinate development of educational content to be used in webinars, on-demand learning opportunities, articles, blogs, and other formats.
Manage completion of new content within established timelines.
Regularly review and update content to incorporate the latest issues, regulations, and trends in orthopedics.
Content Delivery
Source speakers for webinars and on-demand learning opportunities and/or writers for written education formats.
Manage the education calendar.
Manage completion of education logistics
Research best practices for education in associations and the health care industry and apply to education offerings.
Speaker Management
Establish and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and professional and volunteer speakers.
Manage speaker contracts and complete within established budgets.
Create speaker orientation materials, templates, and timelines.
Manage speaker logistics, including scheduling and collecting required information.
Lead, manage, and hold people accountable.
Provide supervision to administrative support staff.
Oversee staff onboarding and training.
Hold staff accountable to assigned role and responsibilities, project timelines, and timely completion of tasks.
Apply the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), or “Traction” to all elements of the role and ensure that direct reports are applying EOS principles consistently.

To complete these responsibilities, the successful candidate will have:
Three to five years of successful education curation, procurement, and delivery.
Undergraduate degree or work experience equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent member service mentality and delivery
Strong verbal and written communications
Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
Proven ability to prioritize complex projects
Ability to think proactively and creatively
Must excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Cooperative, supportive, and “can do” attitude is crucial to success
Our desired qualifications include:
Experienceworking at an association or nonprofit
Experience with YourMembership AMS
Experience with Traction/EOS operating system
Experience with Smartsheet and Active Campaign

Salary: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
