VISIT FLORIDA is looking for a Digital Content Coordinator who is team-oriented, a clear and consistent communicator, and passionate about storytelling. This individual will be part of an integrated marketing team, working closely with internal and external resources to develop and publish digital content designed to reach key marketing audiences.
This role is located in Florida, with a preference to be located in our corporate office in Tallahassee, FL.
Core Responsibilities:
Edit/publish new content and maintain/optimize existing content on consumer-facing websites and marketing pieces.
Stay informed of and then implement best practices for content creation, copywriting, and website publishing.
Implement best practices for SEO, including proper use of meta descriptions, keywords, titles and tags on website digital content.
Collaborate with various departmental staff, contracted content creators, photographers, internal editors, and organization partners.
Review, tag, upload, and organize photo and video assets into the asset management system.
Review and approve asset requests, business listings/events/deals, and user-generated image galleries.
Log and track content creation.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, or relevant field.
2 + years experience in marketing, content creation, editing, tourism, web page building, or project management with measurable results.
Clear communicator with flexible and positive attitude; able to work independently and within teams, results oriented, detail focused and flexible with change.
Ability to edit content for grammar, AP style and accuracy - writing samples may be requested.
