Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago (mca.org) is looking for a marketing and communications director. We are a tight-knit membership organization based in Burr Ridge that represents more than 400 union contractors who service and install technologically advanced and energy-efficient heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and process piping systems across the region.
Job Summary/General Purpose of Job:
Create and execute the Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago’s marketing and communications efforts that span from web and social media management, digital newsletter, promotional items, a quarterly magazine, and an annual report. Serve as the staff liasion to marketing, young professionals, and career development committees.
• Position will be at the forefront of communications with our membership, ensuring our members know of our activities in a timely and engaging way • Oversee the marketing committee • Foster existing and potential member, school and partner relationships to elevate our reputation and facilitate a pipeline of talent for our members • Monitor and track marketing and communications performance • Perform other duties as required
Requirements and qualifications: • 4-year degree, with marketing and communication experience preferred • Our ideal candidate is someone with the ability to multi-task and work in an environment that requires communication and organizational skills, leadership, and self-motivation
