The John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government (IOG) at Florida State University is seeking to fill our Florida Association of Code Enforcement (FACE) Membership Coordinator position.
The John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government, established in 1981, serves Florida’s governments and communities through education and training, technical assistance and applied research, and public service.

The FACE Membership Coordinator will:
Serve as the central contact for F.A.C.E. members, answering phone and email inquiries and requests regarding membership, certification, and online registration.
Aid to orient new members.
Develop and maintain all paper and electronic files for the F.A.C.E. program. Assist with member communication activities.
Serve as the liaison between members and the IT Manager.
Utilize the F.A.C.E. database system (IMIS) to manage and query F.A.C.E. membership and education data, including processing membership applications, renewals, and resignations, as well as maintain and update membership records.
Collect data, track membership statistics, and prepare reports.
Collaborate with IT Manager to identify and resolve technical and functional issues with the F.A.C.E. database.
Perform billing for F.A.C.E. membership dues, event registrations, and event sponsorship invoices. Generate financial and event registration reports for use by other staff.
Participate in F.A.C.E. board and committee meetings, including conference planning committee meetings.
Assist with or complete special assignments or other duties as deemed necessary.
The qualifications for this position are:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalency and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Skilled in computer operations to include MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent problem solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
Ability to coordinate work processes to meet deadlines; detail oriented; communicate effectively.
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, with knowledge of reporting techniques and exposure to reporting tools.
Experience in association management.
