SUMMARY
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing email communications that convey the value and benefits of ACHE membership. Email marketing plays a primary role in promoting education, certification, networking and other products and services to help today’s healthcare leaders advance their careers and the field.
ACHE is a hybrid work environment, requiring 3 days per week in our Chicago loop office.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Email Marketing Development and Deployment 35% of Time
Execute day-to-day email marketing activities including building, testing, scheduling and deployment of email messages across multiple business units.
Analyze and report on key email metrics.
Create and maintain email templates.
Collaborate with email platform vendor on implementation of tools, optimizations and to resolve issues.
Keep up-to-date on industry benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends in email marketing.
Marketing Automation Campaign Execution 25% of Time
Create and map marketing automation campaigns that support membership growth, retention and engagement.
Work with a cross-functional team to create copy for marketing automation messages.
Build and execute marketing automation campaigns.
In conjunction with IT, create, test and maintain integrated lists and groups for email campaigns.
Analyze and report on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for improving results.
Support the creation of reports for stakeholders with an emphasis on ROI attribution and actionable metrics.
Email Project Management 25% of Time
Within the production management system, schedule, administer, and maintain email projects moving through the Department.
Ensure email projects have all necessary assets on schedule, including approved copy, creative, and contact lists.
Establish timetables and oversee system of routing email projects throughout the organization, obtaining all necessary approvals in compliance with deadlines.
Marketing and Data Mining 15% of Time
Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, , identify proposed targets for programs and products.
Establish processes for measuring marketing campaign effectiveness.
Develop documentation and roadmaps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email marketing.
Design, implement, and analyze testing strategies for improving email marketing results.
Seeks opportunities to cross sell or generate integrated messages across product lines and departments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a related field.
Two to three years of email marketing experience required.
Technical skills in email marketing platforms and tools; Higher Logic Real Magnet and Marketing Automation experience a plus.
Demonstrated success in executing email marketing campaigns.
Experience with email marketing metrics measurement. Ability to analyze campaigns, report on performance, and make recommendations for improvements.
Writing, editing and proofreading experience in AP style a plus.
Collaborative, able to work in a team to produce outstanding results.
Excellent integration skills, able to envision steps in a team process and flawlessly execute in coordination with others.
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Organized and attention-to-detail approach (executes with excellence)

Must have regular and predictable attendance, including 3 days in-office per week
