This position allows for telecommuting during the week, however, requires weekly routine onsite presence (2 days per week) in TCIA’s home office in Manchester, N.H.
Educational and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in field sales.
- Experience working in a non-profit or association with an understanding of the membership life cycle.
- Business knowledge and understanding of tree care operations is a plus.
- Spanish speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.
Job skills needed to complete the job:
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with excellent skills in Word and Excel. Must be able to navigate integrated databases.
- Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple projects/tasks/systems simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver strong verbal and written communication skills that are clear, accurate and with authority and in front of an audience.
- Aptitude for identifying problems/opportunities, analyzing options and finding and applying solutions.
- Familiarity with database systems that will allow you to develop a thorough working knowledge and understanding of iMIS & Sharpspring (TCIA databases).

Essential job responsibilities within your territory:
- Able to travel as required per business demand within your territory. The average is 2-3 times a quarter for one to two week increments (requiring overnight travel).
- Recruit and retain new and former members while maintaining consistent contact throughout the year.
- Initiate and maintain an exceptional level of member satisfaction and positive interactions, through multi-channel communications (including, but not limited: telephone, email, company site visits, tradeshows, and webinars).
- Identify local training and workshop needs to service current members and recruit new members. Coordinate these efforts with the TCIA home office.
- Increase knowledge, involvement, and satisfaction with existing TCIA programs and services, including products, meetings, safety training materials, and credentialing programs.
- Complete other appropriate assignments made by the Member Engagement Director.
- Process transactions within iMIS for products, memberships, payments, etc.
- Meet quarterly and annual metrics as defined by business demands within the engagement areas such as new members, renewals, sales, site visits, workshops, etc.
