The School Nutrition Association seeks a dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Marketing Specialist. This position assists with developing marketing strategy and implementing a wide range of programs, campaigns, products, and events. This includes collaborating with the Content Director and Vice President, MarCom & Industry Relations (VP) to set the strategic direction and operationalize campaigns for a variety of audiences. The position also manages the SNA Shop.

The position works with the Director & VP to develop an annual overall SNA marketing strategy and promotion plan for approved initiatives and plans and produces the marketing tactics to operationalize each initiative. They will work with various internal teams, identify key messages for new and ongoing initiatives and develop a plan to apply these in a consistent and strategic manner across all ongoing marketing campaigns. This position will develop marketing plans and creative briefs to produce print/digital/video materials and assess the effectiveness of all marketing for SNA’s campaigns.

They will be the lead writer and editor for eNewsletters and write and edit engaging marketing copy across multiple platforms, including the website and social media, along with marketing collateral such as brochures, email, and in-house advertisements. They will collaborate to leverage social media in support of marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone with a detail and customer service oriented, digital-first mindset with three + years of experience.

The candidate must be willing and able to come in to the SNA offices in Arlington, VA at least two times per week.
