Position Purpose: The Education Development Manager is responsible for planning and delivery of the various components of AACE’s Global Education, Guidelines Development, and new product development. Under the direction of the Director of Education Development, providing subject matter expertise in developing education needs assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating the program which includes AACE’s global education initiatives, new education and guidelines program development, regional conferences, as well as managing the program timelines, and providing project management to the Education and Guideline Development team members. Program formats include live conferences, online activities, and hybrid and virtual meetings.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, organize and execute AACE’s educational activities with a CME component. Provide program management for all necessary tasks to meet established timelines, budget goals, and content expectations for each activity.
Serve as program manager support to the Clinical Practice Guidelines Team under the Learning Division to ensure coordinated efforts between guidelines development and educational programs. Liaise and serve as primary contact with COI subcommittee and its members to organize, plan and execute program development.
Manage processes that facilitate optimum learner experiences, such as development of educational materials (education programs, journal supplements, program evaluations, etc.) and participates in any associated activities on the AACE’s Learning Center (OasisLMS) and Meeting Events Technologies (CadmiumCD, Cvent, etc).
Cross collaborates with other AACE departments to ensure educational planning takes multiple stakeholders’ perspectives into consideration. This includes active engagement with areas such as membership, marketing, meetings, strategic alliances, digital strategy and finance.
Collaborates with education and guideline development team members to develop and implement assessment strategies and tactics for all assigned program activities based upon learning and business objectives, budget goals, and desired educational outcomes. Summarizes satisfaction survey data and other educational outcome results, providing interpretation of aggregated results of participants and activity in achieving outcome level(s) and recommendations for future improvements.
Supports and provides material that demonstrate compliance with AACE policies and ACCME accreditation. Assists with updating policies,

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating accredited educational activities, preferably in a medical association environment. Experience producing activities that comply with ACCME or similar requirements. Experience in developing education needs assessments and grant proposals. Experience in international education program development. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 in a cloud-based environment. Experience with Association Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and Meeting Technology software. Proven ability to troubleshoot and to plan effectively to avoid problems. Professionalism: Good judgment; ability to interact with all levels of staff, volunteers, and vendors.
