THE POSITION We are actively seeking a skilled meetings professional to manage designated content processes for ISPOR live, virtual and hybrid conferences, webinars and related events. Responsibilities include managing content sourcing processes (e.g. calls for abstracts/proposals and invited content); evaluation of content via our peer review processes, member committees and evaluative analysis; and content delivery and presenter/speaker management at meetings and post meeting access. The position supports the scientific excellence of ISPOR meeting content through the achievement of an efficient review and selection process, excellence in program content delivery, and effective communication of scientific content. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Manage the submission, review, acceptance, and presentation process for designated content for all ISPOR meetings and virtual events in accordance with existing timelines.
- Manage speaker/presenter participation including extending invitations, collecting disclosure information, biographies, and ensuring that all required information and action meets established timelines.
- Manage the updating of designated meeting content and presenter information, including updates at the ISPOR website, Confex, and meeting print materials.
- Assist with content development for invited content for all ISPOR meetings as assigned
- Manage content organization and display for ISPOR mobile app/platform.
- Identify optimal delivery methods to maximize content impact and engagement, including traditional and non-traditional learning formats in both live and virtual settings.
- Assist in overseeing attendee engagement at ISPOR meetings (e.g. session polling, social Q&A, meeting content evaluation, discussion groups, etc.)
- Manage the updating of meeting content on the ISPOR website (e.g. ISPOR Scientific Presentation Database and availability of Conference Presentations) including liaison with presenters and ensuring adherence to existing speaker agreements and guidelines.
- Manage the publication of meeting content in ISPOR publications, including liaison with content submitters, and ISPOR publications staff as needed.
- Assist with the evaluation of meeting content through analysis of evaluations, attendance, and access of meeting content.
- Manage selected meeting operations at ISPOR meetings (e.g. Speaker Ready room, support for room management, virtual room monitoring).
- Contribute to the improvement and development of processes, good practices, and outcomes.
- Manage all programs and initiatives in adherence to agreed timelines and budget.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE - A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in a scientific, analytics, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience required
- Experience in content management or meeting management (especially scientific and medical meetings), and relevant scientific background preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technology platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Solid numeric abilities and experience with quantitative analysis.
- Highly motivated, proactive; a problem solver.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer focused.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized, with good time management skills.

OUR LOCATION Nestled half-way between Philadelphia and New York City, ISPOR’s headquarters is in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Our staff is currently remote during the pandemic, however once safe, staff may begin returning to the office.
