Position Summary:

SIR is looking for an energetic, multi-tasking coordinator who enjoys working on unique online platforms to build and support knowledgeable content for members. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Online Education to recommend creative updates to online education based on user data. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and can prioritize many different inter-departmental projects focusing on customer service and administrative support.

 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Construct, edit, maintain SIR learning center courses to also include quality control testing
  • Utilize content editing software to maximize learner interactivity, engagement and learning
  • Collect and organize user data for analysis
  • Serve as main point of contact for SIR learning center support emails and phone calls
  • Educate staff on frequently asked questions pertaining to the learning center
  • Coordinate and schedule webinars for SIR sections and staff
  • Support and maintain the flow of online content to the website including the IR Store

Secondary Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support SIR departments in the implementation of online education
  • Assist in the development of promotional materials and other marketing efforts for online education products
  • Identify opportunities to improve course development efficiency and work with education department to update and improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with AMS, CMS and LMS
  • Working knowledge of tools for developing interactive, multimedia products
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task at a fast pace, determine priorities and meet critical deadlines

 

Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent business experience required.

 

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably working with medical education programs and continuing education
  • Knowledge in ACCME criteria and standards, preferred but not required

 

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: 

SIR is a small, fast paced open office environment with moderate noise levels. The use of phones and computers for extended periods of time is common. Proficiency in office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars is desired. Requires general mobility to move through the facility.  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.  Frequent interaction with internal staff and physician members/board via phone, in person, email and other mediums. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment.  Some travel primarily for Annual Meeting.
