The incumbent will have the following skills: - A minimum of five years of experience as a project manager in a nonprofit setting with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
- A positive, creative, strategic, and energetic team orientation.
- Excellent organizational, editing, writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise of instructional design processes and capacity for innovation.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Great attention to detail and a focus on efficiency.
- Comfort working in a fast?paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of current trends in curriculum for professional development; planning and project management; and, collaboration, coordination, and facilitation of work groups.
- An understanding of the U.S. K-12 education system with preference for candidates with experience working at other national/state education associations/nonprofits.
- Possess technology fluency, including basic website development skills and understanding of using social media and online communities of practice in a professional setting.
